Artist's Block is a 20-minute
audio-guided trail,
leading you into Singapore’s traditional arts enclave.
Created in collaboration with four arts groups residing in Stamford Arts Centre, discover their spaces and get a glimpse into the daily lives of these artists as you hear their stories. This programme is organised by Arts House Limited, held at Stamford Arts Centre. Created by Artwave and first produced by The Entity.

1. Waterloo Street
Stamford Arts Centre, an Artist enclave at the heart of the Arts & Heritage District.
Step outside the gates!
2. BLOCK C Skylit Courtyard
Face the Registration booth, turn right towards Tipo into the skylit courtyard.
3. Traditional Art’s Centre (TAC) Studio
#03-05, BLOCK C.
Take the lift or stairs to Level 3.
4. Narrow Hallway
Take the lift or stairs to Level 1.
Cross over to the other side of the building, and take the Lift to Level 2.
5. Shantha Ratii’s Corridor
#02-01, BLOCK A.
Head towards the lift up to Level 2.
6. Corridor outside Black Box
Head to 02-04 Black Box.
Turn into the stairwell and then left into the Blackbox Corridor.
7. Find the Square Area
Take the stairs up from Shantha Ratii’s studios and stop at a square area at the top of the stairs.
If you are taking the lift, take the lift to Level 3.
Turn right after exiting the lift, and cross the corridor to the stairwell.
8. P7:1SMA’s Waterloo Street View
Level 3. Look out onto the street from this vantage point.
9. Ding Yi Music Company
Use the connecting Black Box Corridor on Level 2 and crossover to Ding Yi Music Company.
Alternatively, you may take the lift to Level 1.
Then cross over to the other side of the building (BLOCK C) and take the lift up to Level 2.
10. Ding Yi Music Company Studio
#02-06, BLOCK C.
