Paper Orchestra is a participatory performance work using everyday paper-based objects to create organised sounds. It also makes use of recycled materials to bring seemingly mundane things to life through sound.
Participants will receive an “instrument”, read off a “score” and follow a conductor. Just like in a proper orchestra.
To date, more than a thousand have experienced this work.
NO MUSICAL BACKGROUND REQUIRED.
Presented in Singapore at ARTas Festival, GoForth Conference and Teens Takeover @Bedok Library.
